Welcome to Barbara!

This bathroom is inspired by my 4-month old daughter who is in the beginning of her own metamorphosis. This is our only bathroom in our Jamaica Plain apartment, so I like that while being light hearted and child-friendly, it also has an air of modern sophistication to it...

We rent, so the only improvements we could make were with color and accessories, but I think it turned out quite nice.

Metamorphosis shower curtain: from Wrapables

Similar storage unit and candle from Target
Vase from Ikea

The wall color is Benjamin Moore Kiwi 544

Love it! We're in the middle of a bathroom reno with exactly this same layout. I love how yours turned out.

I also really dig the cabinet next to the tub on the left...I'm wondering where you hang your towels to dry, though? In our bathroom the only place we can put towel bars that don't get in the way of the door is in just that spot, between the edge of the door and the edge of the tub.

Do yours hang on the back of the door? We have hooks there, but we're a family of 4 (mom, dad, 6YO, 2YO) and we have more towels than our door can handle!

JP love! I have the exact same floor and wall tile, and layout in my JP bathroom - but we have a nasty radiator where your storage unit is. I wish I could fit a storage unti there, though, it would be incredibly handy. And far more stylish.

I love that you balanced the kid/adult friendliness so well - it's hard to do and you did a great job!

I love the paint color. Green in a bathroom is difficult because of the lighting. You did a great job!

thanks for all the love!

Angie- we have a multi-hanging thing that goes over the door, holds about 8 towels I think? and there are also two bars up on the wall, the space behind the door when it is open, if that makes sense.
