Welcome to Joy!

Hello, Just got a new sink in yesterday and thought I'd see what you thought. Small unassuming pedestal. Picture one is sink, toilet, decorative boxes, and kitchen organizer that holds my toothbrush, hand soap, and lotion...

Picture two is a screen to cover the ugly shower and some storage (picture three). I was shooting for Japanese screen, tree with blossoms, but more contemporary. A friend of mine thinks it's the mythical Target tree.

I really like the kitchen organizer idea. And the screen looks great.

The screen is utterly fantastic! I absolutely love it. Can you tell us more about how you did it? I also really like the linoleum tiles. I do think that the stuff on the wall looks like a bit of a hodgepodge, an effect mostly caused by the organizer rail. Would it be possible to take that down, and then lower the mirror and the boxes? Or is the mirror built in? Again, love that screen!

Joy, where is the kitchen organizer from?

The organizer came from HD. I kind of agree that it is a bit tight around the sink, but I didn't won't standard shelves. The screen is on an eight foot slider usually used for closet doors. The canvas has a few coats of paint on it so it is fairly stiff. Thanks for the comments.

That screen is wonderful. I also love the simple light over your mirror.

That organizer, or a version thereof, can be found at IKEA as well. A friend of mine uses them in the shower, long ways across the tub. I love love love the way you hung it over the sink.

Would love to know more about the screen! How'd you make it? Looks like it slides - on what kind of hardware and how did you affix it? (was looking to do something maybe similiar)
Thanks for sharing!!

Rock on with the Wal-Mart chair! I recently got two of them online (for $35 bucks each!!) and couldn't be happier. Feelings about Wal-Mart aside, they're really stepping it up.
