Welcome to Carolyn!

My room is teeny tiny, and this is my attempt to make it bright and pretty on a shoestring. Fortunately it gets some light, so my plants and I are pretty happy with it. The Marimekko cloth was a gift from a Finnish coworker, the awesome dresser was also a gift, and the prints are from Mwilson's Etsy shop. I love AT - thanks for your excellent work!

Hey Carolyn,

It's me, Missy, your neighbor from one floor down and a fellow AT lover. I recognized that lovely Merimekko print right away. Let me take this opportunity to say, as someone who has had to deal with the exact same bedroom layout, that you've done a lovely job. I may have to get your design assistance down in 3L.
See you around!

Are the storage boxes covered in fabric? Great prints on them.

Sweet. I like that you've chosen bold prints and fabrics that are not noisy. What's up with the benches by the window? (And what a strange place for a radiator!)

That dresser is fantastic as are the prints from Etsy...the room is warm and uplifting.

Thank you for your comments! (Hi Missy!)

The cherry blossom paper was wrapping paper from a Christmas present, and the storage boxes are wrapped in wrapping paper too. I'm not sure what I'm doing with the benches - I moved in December and I'm still deciding whether to get rid of them or find a better place for them.

Thanks again for your kind words!

The cherry blossom paper is my favorite thing in this room! I love it. Funny that it was free, that's great.

You Dear!!

Those Morphed and Morhans prints look fabulous, well...if I do say so myself! Thanks so much for showing me!

Wow, Mindy's prints look great with the others. I like your sense of color in the spall-ish space. Magenta, orangy, pinky colors with some blues are my faves right now for spicing up my garden or my house.

Carolyn, it's your roommate. We share a wall. Maybe I'll commission you to do my room. Or I'll just make you coffee in the morning. You are so amazing!

Yet more praise, Carolyn...

Little room or not, you've got "it"! Yours is the space/color/dimension sense I aspire to. Being a Marimekko groupie I fell for the fabric first, but all the views around your happy room make me smile.

The cherry blossom paper looks like it's from Snow and Graham.
