Description: Here are pics from my vacation at the Copal and Zahra cabanas in wonderful Tulum, Mexico. Nothing more relaxing on a warm, sunny day than watching the waves roll in while sipping a cooling caipirinha. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

I have stayed there before, go before it gets like the rest of Quintana Roo.

I've stayed at the nearby Amansala, which offers Bikini Bootcamp, but also rents rooms by the night. The area is lovely, very backpacker vibe --hurry before it gets touristy...Tulum is well on its way

My husband and I stayed at Cabanas Copal this past March -- was the most relaxing and pleasant vacation we've ever had. The no-electricity and nude beach put everything into perspective -- how can you stay tense with naked folks running around and no creature comforts? We're still daydreaming about the afternoon Coronas and fresh guac. at their lovely bar (pictured), overlooking the ocean. GO! Highly recommended.

I love Mexico, not the touristy parts where you see mcdonalds and spoiled American rich kids. Oh, and caipirinha! I have to say I wander if there making it there with the cachaca it's supposed to go with.
