Great place, great people. Loved the NYT article. I can identify with this as we also renovated a ruin to create a comfortable living, working and guest welcoming space.

that's a lovely looking space. certainly a risky purchase for that neighborhood back in the 70's but i'm glad it paid off for them. although some stretches of hoyt freak me the fuck out even today.
