Classical Pianist's Apartment

pianist-01.jpgA few months ago, we conducted an informal Apartment Therapy Survey — Do You Own a Piano? and more recently we featured an UWS FSBO that is the home of a pianist (2 pianos!) Over the weekend, the Times showed us the home of classical pianist and Chopin-expert, Nina Kuzma-Sapiejewska, who has integrated her piano, her Polish heritage and her love of American Colonial furniture into her Larchmont, New York 2 bedroom apartment...

AT really needs a better thumbnail system. The site is slow enough without having to do a full page refresh for each picture you want to view.

You can go to the New York Times, under Home and Garden and see her apartment on the video. I saw this yesterday its very charming.

What?? Ewa is on AT today! I've never been up to Ewa's (pronounced Eh-va) house, but her mom always packs her these amazing lunches to take in the city - everything sealed up in mason jars, homemade pickles, soups, sausages and wedges of cheese - now I want to go up and visit for sure!!

I love the size and the apartment. The piano is beautiful... not a fan of the decor.
