Danny Seo is Selling His Mini Turkey Hill

Weekend escape. Spare Change? If you're looking for a sweet little home near the city, Danny Seo emailed us this week that he is selling his perfectly styled bungalow in Buck's County,PA, River Road House for $425k.

While Danny needs to find "a large farm" for TV and print work, this baby's totally restored and renovated and was the set of his TV show Simply Green with Danny Seo...

Danny is even throwing in a teaser: the lucky buyer gets a copy of the DVD "Simple Steps to a Greener Home" which chronicles the renovation of the home and a 1 year subscription to Country Home magazine. That aside, it's a pretty darn nice little house. The only problem will be once he takes out all the great furniture and you're left to your own devices. (Thanks Anh-Minh for connecting us to Danny!)

Fantastic, and to know that it's intentionally green makes it even better.

Lovely home (or home away from home). I hope the next owners do it such justice with their decor.

I'd rather live there than Turkey Hill. My parents actually just moved from the corner of Turkey Hill and Clapboard Hill Road in Westport, around the corner from Martha! It's beautiful (and I'm nostalgic: my grandfather built the house in the 40s), but close to the highway and kind of loud.

Sadly, my grandfather's barn-looking ranch house was recently knocked down to make way for a 12,000 foot macmansion. Sigh.

Oh my god, you can buy that much charm and character for $425k? Wow! What a steal!

Doesn't it strike anyone as peculiar that someone with supposedly "green" credentials would have a place like this far out in the middle of nowhere, i.e., far from public transportation? A place like this invariably requires lots of driving/burning of fossil fuels to get to/from this place. Also, it doesn't look very well insulated. And where are the solar panels? Sounds like a classic case of 'do as I say, not as I do'...

I'm just sayin'....
