At first appearing fairly normal, this Southampton home designed by OBRA Architects is quite unique — its shape is based on half of a hexagon. With a rather plain exterior, the open interior makes use of the hexagon's angles and highlights them with vaulted ceilings and minimal finishes.
The floor plans really show the immense size and interesting spaces created from the use of the hexagon — an open floor plan I'd love to furnish!

this is interesting, but the design in based on a heptagon (a 7-sided polygon), not a hexagon.

Meh. Sometimes one just wants a house, not a concept.

Don't like the outside... looks like a municipal recreation building. The inside has nice light and an interesting layout.

VERY Bad Feng Shui -
The owners will feel very oppressed by this building with all the angles coming at them - They'll probably lose much of money, someone's career will go down the toilet and they'll wind up divorced.

I always liked the hexagon-based Hanna House in Palo Alto, owned by Stanford.
