We do it. We've caught lots of other people doing it. We're talking about gawking in the windows of other people's apartments as we pass by on the sidewalk. If you do it, too, you might check out NYC Inside. The premise is kind of like an entire website of AT House Tours (but - call us biased - not nearly as cool!).
The website is just getting off the ground, so there aren't bottomless archives of apartments on it. But it's still fun to peek into others' places and their likes/dislikes of aspects of their homes. And we imagine that the site can only get better as it grows.
Each apartment post shares photos alongside the stats of monthly rent, location, and size.

this is a cool site
thank you Regina. I use to get my husband to hold my arm as we walk, so that I can have a better peek into people's home with out falling off the curb. But you're right APT is way better

last night i gawked into the window of a fancy new coop in chelsea and spied the silhouette of a life-sized camel!
regina, a little humility goes a long way. at is not cooler it's different than nycinside.
nyc inside is interesting and i will go back and check it again, thanks for the information. it reminds me of a book living rooms featuring the homes of people from lypsinka to al sharpton.
