Perhaps we are safer in the city... I recived a comment last week from a Mr. Scott Evans (www.antisleep.com), who tartly asked why Apartment Therapy didn't cover the suburbs even a little bit. Without feeling a need to explain the genesis and exact meaning of "APARTMENT" therapy and the fact that I have never, never lived in the suburbs, I thought I would check out where he was coming from and not close my eyes to the world outside, if only for the lucky ducks with country houses and lawns to take care of. It turns out he has his own blog and is somewhat of a conoisseur of suburban folly. Today he is writing about ceiling fans, but these pics are from a delightful entry on the demise of his neighborhood...which does make it seem safer here in the concrete jungle. MGR

Now just a minute. I don't remember asking anything 'tartly'. In fact, 'tartly' is one adverb that has never been used to describe me. UNTIL NOW! I like it.
For the record, my email said: "I know you guys are all about NYC and apartments (and being from NY, I love it) but maybe a flash of the 'burbs would be interesting?"
see you at Niketown,
scott
