Timber Loft in London

In a shell of an existing loft space in South Kensington, London, Hogarth Architects have created a beautifully warm interior with the addition of a two-floor timber structure. The timber structure includes the kitchen, bath, stair, storage and mezzanine sleeping loft...

I would move in in a heartbeat! Hogarth Architects really accomplished their goal of adapting the existing structure (cornices and all had to stay) with a custom architectural element. Via: dezeen.

love the concept, but this is so heavy and bulky looking.

maybe all in white without the cheesy wood panel effect.

The space is truly unique and has fantastic contrasting elements. Some of the surfaces appear a bit too polished for my tastes but that's a personal preference.

yes, would build this in white in a heartbeat. so nice to see a solid wood loft bed nook rather than an aluminum frame or plywood.

The more I see this, the more I love it. The high polish and reflect of the white floors, the molding and uplights and the variety of textures of the wood is amazing.
