Clean sweep. We got a tip this week that Helping Hands, run by a congregation in Harlem, is an excellent resource for donating old furniture and belongings.
Whereas some donation orgs don't pick up and many are very picky about what they will take, Helping Hands will take anything and put it all to GOOD USE. The Pastor's name is Philip and he runs the show. The only downside is that they are very busy, so call in well in advance to schedule a pickup (you will have to leave a message as well....so do it early). (Thanks, Andrea!) MGR
