apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Roomark: Bruce 8.20.08

Due to yesterday's roomarks, I found my way into LivingEtc's bedrooms. The whole thing's a treasure trove. This room, in particular, I love for the red that goes all the way around the walls and ceiling.

Wow, I don't think I could ever live with that much saturated color, much less sleep in this room, but it does make for a beautiful photograph! Great find!

Beautiful photograph definately. But don't think I would be able to sleep in that room either.

Sleep might not be the intended purpose. . . .

It's like sleeping in your mother's womb.

I like how the person tried to be different and break the mould though, even though I would change some things. There is something about wrinkled bedcovers I'm not too keen on. Swapping the bedcover for something else would be one. But congrats to being different though. The other writers on this messageboard crack me up - lol.

I am so dying to find out what on earth is that little cavity in the wall for? The one on the lower right hand side - I can't figure out what purpose it has - or if it's some peep hole where passers by can have some gorey viewing at night... (haha). Or maybe the maid comes by to serve hot tea in the morning - a la hotel style. The cushioned floor section there is creative. Not everyone has that.
