Our livingroom is a mix of pieces we've found over the years. Scoring the square Emma Gardner rug pulled it all together.

Wow, I love it! That rug really does tie everything in nicely.

OMG I love it. I'm not a modernist, but now I have modern envy. :-)

Tastefully done, but there is something about the colour of the wall which just can't get me to relax. There is something un-harmonious about it with the clash of colours of the red orange and pale pink. Nice room but I'd definitely change the colour of the pale pinkish wall.

Thanks for all nice comments! Unfortunately we were not able to capture the true wall color which is a pale yellow, not a pale pink. ;) The room is actually very relaxing.

Aah ! Now that sounds better. This would blend well then =) Btw, I love the curvy armchair - was it expensive?

Is that a Barcelona table base w/ a square top?! Sweet.

Love the bull. Who is it?

Hi Cammy-The curvy chair is an Arne Jacobsen Egg chair that we purchased from a decorator in Baltimore. We were able to get a good deal because we purchased nine of them (we sold the other eight at our vintage store). Brand new they start at $5390 (in fabric) at Design Within Reach.

Hi Volvoguy-The coffee table is a faux Barcelona base with a round top. We had a square top but it made the room feel too boxy.

Hi Quiltmaster-We purchased the bull on eBay about two years ago. It's hard to make out the signature but I think it says ASTIAN, 1967. It's made out of a plaster with a faux bronze finish-it's one of our favorite pieces.
