My living room!

Hand tinted plaster on window wall,Ralph Lauren Devonshire # NA22on far wall. MGBW sofa and chairs. Antique rug. Silk dupioni drapes in coral, copper tube pipe with doorknob "finials" as a curtain rod. Bamboo matchstick roman shade.

It seems very cramped in the living room. Either ditch the couch for a loveseat and get rid of a chair or possibly just have the couch and invest in smaller chairs without arms.

A frame (gold, perhaps) on the picture above the TV would make it really pop.

I like the light in the room, the coziness and the practical wall table. I agree with Jackie on the necessity of a frame, now that painting looks a little naked. I would also select another, possibly contrasting color for the curtains. Maybe a darker shade of green on the blanket.

I think you're right, Tom. The painting does need a frame, and I've been wanting to change the curtains to lime for some time. Thanks for edifying what I considered, but wasn't sure of.
