Adhesive Rug: Floor Sticker by Les Invasions Ephémères
Washington DC

floor sticker.jpgWe’ve blogged about wall decals before and taking this market just a bit further is Les Invasions Ephémères. Designers Sofia Antonovich and Miss Miza have added floor stickers to their impressive selection of wall decals. We think it’s a great idea - a sticker designed specially for floor. It’s a great alternative to the rug and or carpet...

We don’t know about you but we keep thinking about the worn parts of our old wood floor that we would love to cover up! Rockett St George is a UK company that lists prices in pounds. This floor sticker is £62.50, which would be right around $100 US dollars. With shipping it might not be the cheapest solution to protecting high traffic areas but it will certainly look stylish.

What if you get tired of it – you can easily change a rug – how permanent is this sticker?

Like the idea, but I'm curious how it'd wear, and what damage it would do to the finish on my floors.

i'd like to see this in an nontraditional setting...like a garage's cement floor! (and no need to worry about damaging wood floors)

I'd like this under a very modern dining table. I shouldn't be allowed to have a diningroom rug, anyway; at least this would take spills.

here's a tip: stickers are for 7 year-olds, not for walls & floors.
