icff-2009.jpgMore color. Amy Helfand's rugs are always a favorite. This year she presented new workings in wool, with prayer flags featuring prominently as they strut across the backgrounds.

I love Amy's work and have been a fan for a long time. I have a beautiful print of one of her earlier paper cut works on my wall. But I really want a rug! Or some fabric!

I like the second one but overall the randomness of her rug designs would just look like stains or dirt once put into a space.

These are wonderful. Any idea the price point? I bet they are out of reach to the ordinary person.

Love them. The runners are great. I'd also be really interested in the specs - there's no indication of price points on her site. Anyone?

Love, love, love. She never fails to impress. I'm not currently a fan of floor art, but I do love her work. I'd use it as wall art. That first one would make a great headboard...

jmp, I was tempted to say something about not liking the rugs as they seemed random and messy, but since other people like them I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt.
Hence, I am assuming there is something about them that I just don't "get".

kinda really nice! I go for very traditional in rugs (as opposed to wall art) but it's nice to see something different. They are beautiful!

I understand exactly what you are saying kiljoywashere. I guess these rugs are like any kind of art that seems to speak to one person and be lost on someone else. I don't identify with any of these....but I'm sure there are lots of people out there who do love the styles and colors.

Forget the rugs, I love the shoes! Anyone got any idea where they might be from?
