I love these SO much. I'm a huge fan of Alexander Girard, and it really makes me happy to see his designs being put to use in contemporary applications.

Love the little ones. Now why can't they be available in the UK?

I love FLOR. But these are ugly. Granted I am not design savvy enough to know Girard. But who would buy these?

The website really sucks. You would think they would provide at least teh basic information like what size each tile is. They say the "rug" size is 3x5 but if you try to divide the short or long sides by the number of tiles the dimensions come out differently and they are clearly square.

I am not so 'fonda' of La Fonda...

The tiles are 50mm x 50mm. I have used Flor a few times and highly recommend them. I love that you can pick up a single tile and clean it in the sink.

I ordered samples of this item from FLOR and I can honestly say that the designs are wonderful; very authentic mid-century modern in bright colors. The quality of the FLOR materials of this particular item leave much to be desired. I thought the texture of the tiles bore a close resemblance to flocked wallpaper. The texture is not smooth and silky; it feels scratchy and thin and is not very cushiony. These may make a great piece of art but they leave a bit to be desired as far as being a high-quality rug. I also think that they are rather overpriced, considering the quality.

Fugly. In every case, they ruin the look of the room they're in.
