Outdoor Area Rugs by Paola Lenti

Forget that fake plastic grass carpet this summer. Instead, lay your eyes on these fantastic outdoor area rugs by Italian designer Paola Lenti.

The rugs are anti bacterial, non-toxic, and non-allergenic, made of Lenti's signature Rope yarn. The outdoor furniture you see in some of these photos is also designed by Lenti.

Love that purple! I just purchased an outdoor rug as well from Ballard Designs. Most of their outdoor rug collection are abit oldschool stodgy patterns, but the Capetown has a nice modern stripe pattern.

I like all of them, but especially the one with all the circles - but maybe that one would be the toughest to clean...

You can see Paola Lenti's rugs in NYC at Karkula (a very cool store) http://www.karkula.com. They are in the Meatpacking district but I hear they are moving soon.
