The International Gift Fair is to-the-trade only -- makes it tough for us mere masses to attend, no?

I liked his stuff but was a bit put off when i found some of the silhouettes he used in his pillows are from clip art books.

very cool stuff. love all of the canvas wraps and coordinating accessories out there right now.

So, I'm cheap and wanted a cheap alternative. I'm in the midst of a do-it-yourself project because most of the canvas wraps I like are $60+ for 12X12. My solution? Buy pre-stretched canvas at an art supply store and find cool contact paper, which you can find all over the internet in tons of patterns, colors and styles.

I wanted a high-impact, modern grid of canvas wraps for my super tall walls, so I bought rolls of walnut and an ebony looking walnut shelf liner(incredibly realistic looking, too!!)and adhered them to the canvas, wrapped the edges. Voila! 16 12X12 wood grained canvas art panels, alternating blocks of color. Very modern, and have gotten tons of compliments. People have thought I spent tons of money. Total was less than $150.
