While it could be very easy to go overboard on a forest/nature inspired furnishings these days, we immediatley were drawn to Yvette Laduk's Woody Wood Rug for its clever interpretation of a timber cross-section. With textured concentric rings and a burnt "bark" edge, the design is both simple and unique...

The rug is available from 0900-design.nl in three diameters — 100cm, 195cm and 290 cm. We're unsure of U.S. distributors or if U.S. shipping is possible.

This is so hard. I LOVE the wood/faux bois element, but I realzie I have to stop now. But then I see this! And that log lamp! And Martha's new faux bois towels at Macy's! Aaaargh!
