AT DC: Thos. Moser Special Savings Event
AT Washington DC

ThosMoserHighStool.jpg Thos. Moser fans rejoice!

From May 16th to June 29th, the Georgetown Showroom is hosting a sale featuring hundreds of furniture pieces available for immediate purchase.

This sale is a rare opportunity to purchase some of Thos. Moser’s beautiful cherry furniture at 10 to 15 percent off the original price.

The sale will feature a wide selection of floor models, one-of-a-kinds, not-quite-perfect, and first-quality pieces (including sideboards, dining and lounge chairs, benches and stools, dining and occasional tables, beds, and desks)....

Inventory will be re-stocked throughout the course of the sale. All sales are on a first-come, first-served cash/credit and carry basis. Sales staff will help load most purchases into vehicles; local delivery can be arranged on-site for an additional fee based on delivery address.

Want to drop by? You'll find the sale at the Thos. Moser Summer Event Annex adjacent to the Georgetown Showroom at 3300 M Street NW (the corner of M and 33rd Street).

There was a great article in "This Old House" magazine recently showing David Moser making a dresser - Very interesting process!

I love that store, even though it is out of my price range. Maybe I'll wander in just to do some window shopping...

I'm really enjoying ATDC so far!

I browsed the special event last weekend. There was a lot of beautiful furniture, but out of my price range.

Wow, 10 to 15 percent off for some floor models and scratch-and-dents. Moser sells the stool pictured for almost a thousand dollars. You mean, if it's scratched up and dented, you'll let it go for just a bit over $800? What a steal. Don't strain your profit margins too much there, Tom!

Snark aside, glad to see ATDC is up and running, and don't let the resentment of the great unwashed masses keep you from posting news on the nice furniture places of Cady's Alley. There is certainly much nice house candy to covet in that neighborhood.
