It must have been a record. We all got a late start yesterday on our 4th Annual Broadway Walk due to subway malfunctions, but we still got to the bottom of the island by 4pm, our fastest time ever. We had a great group of 16 AT'ers from all over the city, of whom 8 got to the very, very end...

It was great to meet everyone and fun to start out with the best of intentions ... but you guys were walking WAY too fast for me to keep it up for more than 50 blocks! (No wonder you got to the Battery by 4:00! Sheesh ... that's not a walk, that's a MARCH!)

Maybe next year my feet will be in better shape ... or I can find an adult-sized stroller to get pushed along in. Or ride a Segway ... how 'bout that?
