I.D. 40 - Designer Workplaces: Open for Submissions

Are you a designer? How's your workspace? We just got an email from Editor in Chief Julie Lasky at ID magazine that they're taking submissions up until Friday, September 7th for their newest I.D. 40: Designer Workplaces. Here's the story (with info) and here's a cool link to their new digital archive:

This means we're scouring the world for the most interesting studios, factories, garages, or any other environment supporting any kind of design work. The 40 final selections will be published in I.D.'s January/February 2008 issue..

We just need a few low-res photos to give us a sense of the space, along with a brief description of who works there and what makes the place special. Proposals should be emailed to press @ fwpubs . com. The deadline is Friday, September 7.

We know that many of our readers are designers and this seems like a super cool way to show off what you do. (Thanks, Julie!)
