I've Got Color! The Fall Colors Contest

2005_guild.jpgThis is just a little heads up that we've got our second really big contest coming up next month, and some of you might want to get ready. It's sponsored by CB2 and features a mouth watering prize pool of $5000 worth of shop credit at CB2. It will run on both sites and feature an EAST coast and a WEST coast winner with a final smackdown between the two!

Beginning in two weeks we will be accepting submissions for

I’ve Got Color! The Fall Colors Contest

Color is powerful part of interior design, but few feel comfortable using it.

Our contest in October seeks to draw out the most innovative interior uses of color and provide tips and resources for readers to follow.

We will be looking for bold, complex and totally cool rooms that employ the use of color on walls, textiles or objects.

Wouldn't you know it...the one contest I'd give my right arm to enter, I can't. *sigh* I'll just envy the person who wins from my perch on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge down here.

Dee: Why not enter anyway? You can still show off your place [and pieces!], even if you can't be a finalist...

Now I'm definitely motivated to finish my bedroom. My apartment is all about bright, bold colors. I don't really believe in neutrals.

Will we need to take our own photos for this contest? I'd love to enter - I missed the LAST contest; just want to be ready this time!

mary--
You want Dee to subject herself to the typical contest smack-downisms WITHOUT the possibility of winning this sweet prize?! Hmmm...

Dee-- I say submit your pics for a house tour. The comments are typically a little less ruthless there. Unless we happen to catch Cranky Paul on a bad day. ;)

When I saw the awesome prize I thought I have to enter but then, after the jump, my biggest phobia reared its head.

All the best to all entrants. I am looking forward to seeing all the great looks.

That is SUCH a sweet prize!

So, by West Coast, do you mean *all* of us westies? Or is this just a New York vs. LA smackdown?

p(too) -- I'm either mean or a voyeur, then.

Mary--
A DANGEROUS combination. ;)

So I can't enter then, can I? I do live on the East coast I guess.... The east coast of Sicily.

The thought of $5000 worth of CB2 stuff hasn't left my head. But unfortunately no one ships furniture here. I'm so sad. I miss America....

I agree with ya there Emy. (Missing America). The only thing that does make me feel a bit better is that I have three exhibitions to prepare for so I'll be a tad bit too busy to be involved in this. Can't wait to see what people have done though. Also looking for a bit of colour inspiration so BRING IT ON PEOPLE!!!!
