Yeah, I have noticed that all the DWR stores post floor sample sales on Craig's List. I always wonder--are the regular customers just not interested in floor samples?
Advertising this way is free for them.
Interesting....It either means dwr's proprietors are allowed great trust and freedom in using the web OR DWR doesn't really have a money outlet for announcing their sales. Even our sales listing is free AND you would think this sort of thing would be a little more organized. DWR customers are DEFINATELY not reading Craigslist en masse.
in response to Cuse's email about the spun table lamp -- thanks for pointing that out. the only difference is once you pay the shipping for the new ones, it's more than the sample sale. but good to know.
They have been posting on and off for weeks now. Just search DWR in craig's list. But Barbara points out a problem with many stores, and that is the delivery charge. DWR's set of nesting tables is on sale for $189. With $70 hipping and NYC tax the total ends up being $281. Suddenly not so much of a bargain.
