For the calendar. Next Saturday March 19th, from 11am-5pm, Broadway Panhandler will hold a free knife skills workshop with Marc Bauer of the French Culinary Institute at 3pm and have experts on hand to sharpen all your dull knives ($10 for up to 3 knives).
