Late breaking event. Tipped off by James and David at KleinReid, we post From A to B and Back Again at the Heidi Cho Gallery, where local designers subvert the art of craft and create objects of great aesthetic appeal.
Curated by Tobias Wong and Carlos Salgado, the opening reception is tomorrow night at 6pm.

Think I'll be there early, have to get home for the Steelers game. While we are on the topic of Brooklyn, it's kinda funny that a Brooklyn design show is held in Manhattan. I don't mind though since it isn't out of the way for me.
Anyone know anything about the building on Hanson Place? I think it's on the corner of S Elliot St or S Portland Ave. It's a contemporary retrofit of an old building, gray and yellow. Has a pretty cool looking chandelier in the foyer. Pretty sure it's owned by an architect, his/her offices may be on the ground level.
I walk by it everyday during my commute and love it.
that's why the show is called from A to B and Back Again... the title itself is a comment on that very irony. Its in the curatorial statement for the show. should be a good one. has a great roster, that's for sure.
Love that photo. It looks Burmese inspired. Wish I could go!
Got the cross street and house number this morning as I walked by. 81 Hanson Place:
