While I appreciate what this is I would rather support local artisans in my own country who are also struggling to make ends meet.

After looking at the art glass items offered on this site I have to say that I have seen the identical art glass styles and patterns coming out of Brazil, Portugal, Chile, Turkey, etc. They all claim to be handcrafted by a local artisan, but they are so identical in their appearance and technique that I suspect they are mass produced somewhere else.

I would love to wrong about this.
