A friend of mine did pick up an old (but still in good shape) Eames lounge chair and ottoman at a garage sale for some ridiculously low price. The woman who was selling it had no clue what it was and really didn't care. It had been her grandfather's chair and she thought it was ugly and wanted to get rid of it. Needless to say my friend was bouncing up and down with delight the minute he got the thing home.
