Scavenger: 70's Terrarium for $25

2005_4_19_terra.jpgIt is amazing what people have in their homes. This gets posted out of sheer curiousity.

Rich, out in Park Slope, is selling his 70's style Terrarium for a song, and we would love to know who its next owner ad home are. It also makes us realize that the Apple's curvy white and clear style is more 70's than we had previously realized.

Thanks, Craig!

LUSTING big-time for the terrarium! My folks had one growing up and I've always wanted one as an adult. Damn, why don't these ever turn up on CL-Los Angeles?

hehe... my mother has this same item still. it came from a Thrifty's drug store in So. Calif, circa 1975.

note to potential buyers; the bubble makes a great space helmet.

I bought a terrarium just like that at a yard sale in 1989, and just the the other day I was wondering what happened to it. I SO want another one.

What kind of shipping costs are we talking about?

I would love to purchase the terrarium from you. Is it still for sale? I live in in Naples Florida, what would the shipping be?

Is it possible to purchase this terrarium still? Could anyone find one for me? Like others have mentioned, my parents had one of these as well and it seems to be one that I would like to have.

If anyone has one or knows where to find one I would appreciate it as well as reward/pay accordingly.

Thanks
John

I also owned this tulip terrarium in the 70's and sold it because of an international move.

Would love another as I live in a condo and I miss my garden.

If this comes up as available, let me know. It was great fun for my kids when they were little.
