Yikes! We used to have two of those couches! I had no idea we had the makings of a sophisticated decor. (Comfortable, those sofas are not.)
Well, Wende, that phrase was kind of like "part of a balanced breakfast" which means that in the context of certain other things it will work just great. But it really would depend a lot on those other things.
And I think that it absolutely COULD be fully integrated into a sophisticated decor, because although it's antique, it's curves are simple and classic and bold enough to fit in nicely with lovely modern things, and as far as comfort, it looks like to me that a few pillows here and there might help. I like it.
