Ok, this Scavenger entry is maybe a leetle bit scary. Definitely a project for an upholsterer (or for someone who knows a good upholsterer), this Plycraft chair and lounger is advertised as an original, but really does need work. We think it's worth the $100 for someone willing to put forth a little sweat equity. -MM

I've recovered 2 different Plycraft lounge chairs, for about $150 each. There are some great threads about this on www.designaddict.com . It takes a little elbow grease, a staple gun, and some polyurethane, but its totally doable, especially on a budget.

Correction, the leather I bought was about 150, the other supplies ran it up to about 200. Kyson leather on Ebay, great stuff fairly cheap, willing to send you a sample of all of their colors.
