Melisa's decluttering AND she's in San Francisco, but don't let that stop you from taking on her Kartell OXO Computer Cart which is reportedly in mint condition.

$650 for a computer cart?!
So I splurge on the computer cart and someday have enough money for the computer to go with it? That's like buying a garage and hoping a car will show up. Why the high price? I'd rather hide away my computer and all the peripherals that go with it and use that money on a beautiful chair or something.
In Melisa's defense, we had a BIG trend here in San Francisco for keeping the computer equipment visible as part of the "design." It was partly philosophical ("We're the cutting edge dot-com boom! We all telecommute from our SoMa lofts to companies with names like Chartreuse Frog!") and partly practical (trendy SoMa lofts aren't that great on closet space).
Our peripherals live in the closet on cheap faux industrial shelving from Lowe's, and we spent the money on a fabulous chair.
Classicon (Munich, Germany) has introduced a great swivel horizontal shelving system. You can can download the PDF spec sheet from the distributor here:
