DANG! for that loot i couldn't sleep for worrying about how i was going to get to work - imagine - having to sell you car to buy a bed, that only people you didn't know would see on the net.
Actually, the Scavenger in this case is a she, and the general idea behind the column is finding things that are a good value, which is of course relative to all of us. As much as I would like to, I'm not going to be plunking down $40 anytime soon, let alone $4000, for a piece of furniture. But any time I see something pretty for under retail, my heart goes pitter-patter.
