But hasn't everyone already knocked this idea off? Meaning wrapping a lampshade around a chandelier? The Plaza hotel having similar fixtures a few years ago.

no picture can do the Moooi Light Shade Shade proper justice. They are simply magnificent design pieces and certainly the focal point of any room they are installed in. I have to of the Small Light Shade Shades over my kitchen island, and one Large Light Shade Shade over my dining room table and they probably get more attention that most other pieces on the entire house.
