Scavenger: Paul Evans style mid century modern dresser for $600

TtabdYkB6v5ep0Emchoh2HRDdloH.jpgWe're not sure how this mid-century modern dresser slipped by -- it's certainly a showstopper. It reminds us of a Piet Mondrian painting, and we think it would be perfect in a bachelor pad. Looks like there's plenty of storage for both on and off season clothing -- so you need not fret about packing away those cashmere sweaters.

By the way, I put a big old piece of very interesting antique wallpaper up on the AT Classifieds, but I couldn't get it to accept my photo, so if anybody is curious about what the photos look after you have a look at the little ad, go ahead and contact me. It's VERY old, and has some words hand-painted on the back and it seems to be French.

Rorschach wood test: Which artist does this cabinet remind you of...

I've gotta say Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss" with the left side of the left door being the "male" side and the right side of the left door being the "female" side:

Or done in beads here:

Which also makes the item appropriate for a romantic woman's boudoir.

Note to self: Do not kiss the woodwork. It's really not a man.
