Have piano, will travel. This is a classic situation, and if we can solve it, we will consider Apartment Therapy a success. This baby grand piano lives on West 44th Street in the home of a musician who does not have the time or the energy to repair it (and who has just inherited a newer Steinway, which is living in the same room). She does not believe that anyone wants a piano that needs some work, and so if prepared to give it away to a music lover who will adopt it with love, tune it up and use it. Only serious inquiries please to BarbaraDeannyc@aol.com.

Hello there...Baby Grand owner!
I almost fell out of my seat when I read your need for a home for such a beautiful instrument. For years, I have wanted to take piano lessons, but never thought I could get my hands near one (piano). I am a Jazz, Rythm and Blues lover and would love to tickle the ivories for myself someday. Your plea asks for "serious inquiries only" and this is one right here. I hope to hear from you!!
This could be the answer to my prayers.
One night at our church the Pastor mentioned he would like to have a Grand Piano. He said he knew of one for $500.00 I thought wow what a bargain, someone should buy that today. I put $250.00 dollars down on the piano to the church secretary and thought the rest would come fairly easily by the end of the month. Imangine my surprise to find out the Pastor mispoke, the amount was $5,000.00 So I have been praying for a real bargain. Can you help me? I am in Ohio and would certainly pay the shipping.
Many Thanks,
and May God Bless you
