We're not going to make any claims about the practicality of this auditorium seating, but the set of three seats sure is cool. Maybe one of our design oriented friends in the greater New York area has a mudroom and children who haven't mastered the "stand on one foot and take off the other shoe" routine, or perhaps these go to a beach house porch on the Jersey shore, Fire Island or the Hamptons and become a landing pad for those coming in and toweling off. -MM

I've seen these stadium chairs used to great effect in entry ways... where they perform as sort of "useful sculpture" but don't take up the entry width of a hall in order to get a place where you can tkae off shoes or rest a shopping bag...
The chairs are quite nice for cramped spots and entry ways. I have an old set from a theatre here in Austin, I even left the gum entact that was stuck on the underside of the chairs. The one bad thing is that the metal legs have left rust spots on my tile floor, so that is a negative.
