I don't know why the 23" inch Samsung is so popular. I think the V-shaped front is very strange and the base is hideous. I prefer the Philips 23PF5320 23" Flat Panel. It has the same features as the Samsung, but a much more aesthetically pleasing form and base. It's also currently only $617.99 on Amazon, which beats Samsung by nearly $200.00.
