I don't see this working well as a stool, indoors or outdoors (except maybe on concrete?). Inside, those points would scratch the hell out of hardwood floors and stab into carpet, on grass or dirt they would dig into the soil and likely make the seating surface uneven.
And, now that I think about it, the large holes would greatly limit the storage options when it's flipped over.
There's a lot of emphasis on form, but it seems function was neglected in this case...

I thought it was a wastepaper basket. It is only $400 cheaper than I thought it would be revealed after the jump.

It is cute to look at or put stuff in, like towels or magazines. Steep but pretty.
