i purchased an exact bentwood stool last summer at a Connecticut flea market for $40.....You might want to Google Thonet and find out where you can purchase reproductions. Most large flea markets always have a bentwood chair in various styles - and you might get lucky and score yourself a stool.

I almost bought this exact stool on ebay a week or so ago. I'm sure the auction has ended by now (or maybe not) but the seller was in Brooklyn! Check on ebay- maybe it's still around...

i saw one (had it bookmarked even, i love this design) on ebay last week...keep your eyes out there, it might come back up. it was from one of the brooklyn mod furniture dealers.
