Solid Wood Bench at the iT House

This solid wood bench was made by the builder of the iT House. It's cut from a salvaged tree picked up from another construction site. Check out the process of making the bench after the jump:

That is a great simple bench, but how much does it weigh? It has to be several hundred pounds. I wish there were some pictures of the 10 guys or crane it took to move it into place.

love the bench, love the cork stools, really love the rebar couch. great match of interior and exterior. given its weight, agree that the bench is best left for the ground floor.
