Dept. of Slim. Now that DWR has officially embraced the J Crew ethos and a. hired fashion photographers, b. upgraded their catalog to opine on LIFESTYLE (ie. "The Art of Sitting"), and c. removed all the 90's persian carpets from their style shots, we are noticing some nice new things.
The Baba ad Elena chairs and stools strike us as a colorful, classic new design with a pricepoint (esp. on the Elena) that recommends them. The Elena is designed by Joan Casas Ortinez and made of polypropylene and aluminum. The Baba is by Sergio Milan and made of chromed steel and stained beech wood.
