Tom Dixon's Wire Dining Chairs

Minimal Lines. While it's outdoor month we thought we'd highlight our recent fascination with all things Tom Dixon including his Wire Dining Chairs. We would have certainly included these stunners in our list of Bertoia Replacements, a few months ago. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the chairs capture Tom Dixon's simple but luxe aesthetic...

With a cushion...

The chairs are also available with a white powder-coating.

Available from Nova68 for $680.

Has anyone sat in one? We're a little wary of the level of comfort.

You stole my comment, judy in TO. Well, almost - oven racks and TV aerials were my immediate thoughts. I find them stunningly awful in almost every way. Maybe they would give you nice ventilation in hot weather but that's all they have going for them.

These look like they were inspired by Titian's painting of 'The Martyrdom of St. Lawrence' the patron saint of chefs. St. Lawrenced was grilled to death.

They're interesting to look at, but MAN they look like they'd be painful to sit though a meal on.

Oh. The cushions. I see. That's what I get for jumping from the front page right to the comments. :)
