10.02.home_port2.jpgLocated in St. Louis' Central West End, The Home Port carries decorative objects, furniture, and lighting with an exotic flair.

We loved the Alchemy line of vases found there and also be sure to check out their basswood stag busts for wall decor. They also carry glass cloches that we know readers have seached for before.

It would be so cool to see travelogues to various cities that AT doesn't cover full-time! I remember St. Louis' antique shops fondly, but that was a decade ago now, and I'm sure there's been immense change.

Wende-

I agree. What if people could submit mini-guides to either their hometowns or places they went on vacations?

Unfortunately, the Home Port's boutique shop just closed this Sunday. They are planning on focusing more on their online business. Their other location, in Union, Missouri is still open I think. It was really sad to see them close, they were a great addition to our neighborhood here in the CWE.

A client and I just got this from Home Port for his new antique desk. I love it! How cool is this!
