Lobster Lounge Chair from Lund & Paarmann

2-11-lobsterchair-1.jpg

Enjoy the coziness of a crustacean! Danish design firm Lund & Paarmann brings us the Lobster Chair. Designed with the option of a walnut veneer back and leather interior, the Lobster Chair reminds us of a classic Eames Lounge with a contemporary and playful edge...

I think they're kind of wonderful but they don't really look safe.

I love the look, but I wonder how comfortable they are. Seems like you'd have to curl your spine into a ball.

On one hand I think this lounge is beautiful. But I don't know if the inside looks as luxurious as the outer shell.

On the other hand, I'm a little put off by the thought of sitting in a discarded lobster shell.

On yet another hand, this chair looks kind of stirrup-y, and well... hmmm, let's just leave it at that.

I'm not seeing "lobster". I'm seeing, "Ah, Mr Bond, welcome to my undersea lair! Mwhahahahaha!"
