Just when you think you've looked everywhere, you come across an exhuastive list like this! We've often thought, What a godsend beautiful folding chairs would be - ones that could be primary daily chairs and still fold away to save space when desired...
And we've found a few in the past, like the 2F by Hannu Kähönen or the variety of chairs listed here.
But wow, Designboom has really put together the mother of all lists in this visual history of folding chairs, also pictured above. We're positive we can find a folding chair worthy of daily use somewhere in here.
