Judges Comments:

Jill - Each piece is wonderful in its own right. Somehow, it is unsettling to see them in such proximity to one another. I would have liked to see the mismatched green tiles we heard so much about.

Alec - To be honest, throughout this contest I think Dana’s images were my favorite. I love the glossiness of the birds and I LOVE that she painted the frames to match the wall- hysterical. Humph…is Dana 3rd because her space isn’t as nice as the others? Now I’m pissed at myself…I want a rematch! ;-)

SKGR - Although she doesn't like her color scheme, I liked how she saw her art as a way to cope with it. And I really like the green tiles! I thought Dana's entry was really strong.

Maxwell - Dana's bathroom was sweet and lovely, but I had a hard time comparing it to the bigger rooms. It was also hard to get more of a sense of her artistic/interior sensibility with only a few pics. In the end I gave her high marks, but spent more time looking at the other entries.

Dana has the best actual art in the finals . . .

I couldn't really see them until the reshoot with closeups.
I was really surprised how different the entries looked with new photos.
