Egad!! The price! The price!
Are there any old ones from defunct airlines out there?

Surely you could find a less expensive storage unit that would fit the bill.

Wow, these are great for us aviation geeks and they sure are cheaper then the vintage (used) ones out there for sale. My guess is, if they last through all of the banging around the flight attendants give them, they should last a lifetime for someone like me.

I just saw these carts and I absolutely loved them! You can get them on http://www.flightstudiostore.com/ I am definitely buying one for my husband this christmas :) He works for an airline and he really is an aviation freak! That website has a lot of really cool aviation related items and they give you free shipping! (I love free shipping!!) If you like these type of products and aviation, this site is a MUST! I promise you'll love it! :)

I've got a vintage one (Canada 3000) on sale right now Ebay.

$500 for the buy it now. Unlike the Alcarts, this one has all aluiminum trays. But they are "naked" (undressed). Using em as tool carts, but with some fun, I'm sure they would look quite amazing.
All the best!
